“After tearing my ACL and lateral meniscus in a skiing accident, I made the decision to pursue recovery without surgery, a path most thought impossible. From day one, Emily Scott at Velocity Physical Therapy respected that choice and worked with me to design a tailored program that focused on strength, balance, and long-term joint stability. Eight months later, I have achieved a full recovery without invasive surgery. She is an exceptional professional who turns determination into results.”

What Athletes in Mount Pleasant Are Saying

  • "Dr Emily Scot is a game changer in the world of physical therapy. I have moved here for an extra month to be under her guidance as I have accomplished more in two weeks with her than with the team of PT's I have in Chicago for the past 10 weeks. Her attention to everything, mind, body, how to connect and relearn all these processes has been nothing short of a miracle for me."

    Jason Pietrucha

  • "Nate doesn't just create workouts during recovery, he is a specialist in diagnosing the problem and finding solutions to help it from happening again. Because of Nate, he avoided surgery and is back at 100%. Nate is by far the best PT specialist in the Charleston area for young athletes and I'd highly recommend any baseball player in particular with an injury who's trying to get back on the field to go see him."

    Ted Kniesche

  • "She is very knowledgable, professional and takes her time with individualized treatment during each session. Thanks to Dr. Scott, I have continued to progress in my recovery and anticipate being back to golf and tennis very soon."
