What Mt. Pleasant Athletes Are Saying

Real feedback from athletes, active adults, and golfers who trained and rehabbed with Velocity Sports PT in Mt. Pleasant.

I am a high school baseball player and was having some arm issues and Dr. Nate got me on a program that helped my arm heal, completely recover, and even grow stronger. I would highly recommend Dr. Nate at Velocity Sports Physical Therapy to any athlete.
Nate Bender
We worked with Nate when my daughter tore her ACL. He was excellent with strength and conditioning skills. More importantly, his experience, knowledge and positive outlook helped her with the confidence and encouragement she needed to get thru the long recovery.
Bridget Bushnell
Highly recommend! I hurt my shoulder and had to withdraw from a few tournaments, but I went to see Nate and he had me back and 100% within just a couple weeks, there’s no where better to go if your an athlete.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you want to know before booking your first visit at Velocity Sports PT.

Do you take insurance?

We're an out-of-network, cash-based clinic. We accept HSA and FSA payments and can provide a superbill you can submit to your insurer for potential reimbursement. Many athletes find that the one-on-one model, a full hour with the same clinician every visit is well worth it compared to the standard clinic experience.

How long will it take to get back to my sport?

That depends on your injury, your training history, and your goals which is exactly why we start with a thorough assessment. We build a sport-specific plan around your timeline and what matters most to you, rather than giving you a number that may not fit your situation. Many athletes notice meaningful progress when they follow a plan that addresses the full picture.

Who do you typically work with?

We work with middle school, high school, and college athletes, active adults who lift and run, and golfers across all ages and skill levels. If you're active and want to stay that way, you're in the right place.

What does the first visit look like?

It starts with a free phone consult so we can make sure we're the right fit. From there, your first session is a full one-on-one assessment where we dig into what's driving your issue not just the symptoms and map out a clear plan for getting you back to sport and training.

Do you offer telehealth?

Yes. Telehealth sessions are available for athletes and active adults who can't make it in person or want additional support between visits.

Still have questions?

Reach out, we're happy to talk through your situation before you commit to anything.
