Sports Physical Therapy in Mt. Pleasant, SC

TRANSFORMING SETBACKS INTO COMEBACKS

Shoulder bothering you on the mound? Running injury keeping you off the trails? We build a sport-specific plan around your goals and your exam findings so you can get back to what you love.

Ignoring the Problem Only Costs You More

Pain that keeps coming back isn't going away on its own

A nagging shoulder or recurring running injury won't fix itself with rest. Without addressing the root cause, the same setback will keep pulling you off the field.

Generic care doesn't understand your sport

Cookie-cutter PT exercises built for the average patient won't meet the demands of your training. You need someone who understands how sport loads your body.

Sitting out is stealing your momentum

Every missed practice and skipped workout is lost progress. The longer pain controls your schedule, the harder it is to get back to where you were.

Common Conditions We Treat

What We Help You Address

From acute injuries to recurring setbacks, we work with athletes and active adults dealing with the problems that keep interrupting their training and their seasons.

Shoulder Pain - Overhead discomfort in throwing, serving, or pressing that limits your power and range.

Golfer Back and Hip Pain - Back tightness and hip limitations that show up during the swing, on the course, or after a long round of practice.

Hip Pain - Hip discomfort limiting your squat, stride, or rotation during sport activity.

Recurring Running Injuries - The same knee, shin, or foot issue that keeps flaring up every time training volume increases.

In-Season Shoulder Issues - Overhead sport pain in baseball, softball, tennis, or swimming that needs to be managed without pulling you from your season.

Return-to-Sport Rehab - Structured progression back to full training, practice, and competition after injury or time off.

Orthopedic Pain - General joint or muscle pain that interrupts your training and limits how hard you can push.

The BEST physical therapy! Really helpful exercises with great and knowledgeable therapists! Nate’s helped me recover from a knee reconstruction surgery that took me out of dance! Thanks to him, now I’m back! 5/5 stars would recommend ⭐️

Went to Dr.Harris after a torn acl surgery. Recovery was amazing with him. Went by fast and very encouraging. Got me back to all my activities sooner than expected! Highly recommend.

We cannot say enough good things about Nate Harris. Our son had a tear in his elbow a result from a baseball injury. Nate not only worked with our son with PT but suggested alternative treatments which all together resulted in a full recovery. Highly recommend him!

Frequently Asked Questions

Athletes and active adults in Mt. Pleasant ask us these questions before starting care.

Do I have to stop playing or training during PT?

Not necessarily. Many athletes continue practicing or competing while working through a plan with us. We build your program around what you can tolerate and progress from there. The goal is to keep you in the game as much as possible while addressing the underlying issue.

How long will it take to get back to my sport?

It depends on your specific situation, your sport, and your goals. After your evaluation, we build a clear plan and give you a realistic sense of what the progression looks like. We don't do one-size timelines — we work from your exam findings and where you want to go.

Do you take insurance?

We are out-of-network and cash-based by choice. This lets us focus entirely on your care and your plan rather than insurance rules. We can provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement. HSA and FSA are also accepted.

What makes this different from other PT clinics?

You get a full hour, one-on-one, with a provider who holds ATC and CSCS certifications and brings experience from NCAA and professional sports medicine settings. Every session is built around your sport and your goals — not a shared clinic floor and a timer.

Can I do a telehealth session if I can't come in person?

Yes. Telehealth is available for those who prefer a remote option or need flexibility in their schedule. Reach out and we can talk through whether that's the right fit for your situation.
